Thanks to my older brother who left a giant html bible sitting around the house. This book would be the starting point for my entire professional life.

Got bored just building "websites"
I was introduced to PHP by a friend in high school and I began to learn everything I needed to know about building a fully functional application.

Graduated High School
Tried to find myself...that didn't work. Went back to coding eventually :D

Odd Jobs and such
It was a long time ago...
During this time I did some freelance work and an internship but it's so long ago I don't really remember all the details. Was a good time to cut my teeth and get some work under my belt as a young lad.

Co-Created Amino Editor
The best-in-class live css editor chrome extension
Amino was originally my initial exploration into the world of chrome extensions. I partnered up with a designer and we grew that into something truly wonderful. Today Amino boasts over 30k active installed users on the chrome web store alone.

I started out as a software engineer and later grew into the lead DevOps role at the company. During my tenure here I was responsible for managing large scale infrastructure and executed a vision that was able to save hundreds of thousands of dollars in costs each year.

Founded: Frozen Crow
We started a business of our own
Me and my partners at Frozen Crow set out to build a data management and marketing company. Little did we know that COVID was just around the corner, but through good times and bad we've stuck together, still building the business to this day.
Revolutionizing color picking and palette creation in chrome based browsers
Chroma was the next release from me and my partner that created amino. We'd gotten a taste of the chrome extension space and we enjoyed it. Chroma has built up over 10k installed users in chrome alone and holds a sturdy 4.8 star rating.
Click here to try chroma on this page ;) Some features won't work

Scaling Frozen Crow
Bigger projects, and a heavy investment in Carrier Crow
A stretch of large client projects kept me busy, and we poured serious effort into Carrier Crow — our email marketing platform — expanding what our users could do with email. On the agency side we grew into managing over a million dollars in ad spend at a 7-10x return.

Consulting on FranFunnel
Text-first lead engagement for franchise development
I picked up a consulting engagement on FranFunnel, a platform built on a simple premise: the first response wins the deal. It texts a franchise prospect within 60 seconds of their inquiry, hands the conversation to an AI agent tuned for that stage of the pipeline, and syncs the whole thing back to whatever CRM the brand already runs. I've worked across the engagement engine and its integration surface.
Two modes in one ocean. One Breath is a single-button dive where rhythm is the only thing you control; Open Water gives you two axes, a speargun, boat traffic overhead and an air supply that runs out. Built on a hand-written canvas engine with no framework, no build step and no dependencies — the whole game is a double-clickable HTML file.

A puzzle game about the consequences of clicking "approve"
You are the only DevOps engineer at snackstack inc. Coworkers want access now, a botnet is knocking, and on day five an attacker walks the graph of exactly what you granted. Seven days of ticket triage, firewall rule chains, log forensics and one live incident — all presented as a fake operating system, in zero-dependency TypeScript, entirely client-side.
Frozen Crow keeps growing, the consulting work is ongoing, and shipping two games in a month reminded me why I started doing this in the first place. I'm always open to interesting problems — if you've got one, get in touch.
